Zach Edwards builds practical software and AI systems for small businesses — the kind of work that normally takes several hires or an expensive agency.
Zach Edwards LLC started from a simple idea: use software and AI to give small businesses capabilities they would otherwise have to buy a whole team to get. It began with websites and hands-on client work, and a pattern showed up almost immediately — a website was rarely the actual problem. Businesses needed more customers, faster follow-up, easier quoting, less repetitive admin, and systems that actually did something after a customer clicked.
That pushed the company from “build a website” toward “build the system behind the business.” Instead of stopping at design, the work became websites combined with lead generation, quoting tools, booking, checkout, local search, automation, AI agents and custom operational software.
Laser Metal Fab is the clearest one. Rather than only redesigning pages, Zach scoped a drag-and-drop DXF estimator built to kill the quoting back-and-forth. A customer uploads a DXF, enters material, thickness, quantity and job details; the system reads the geometry — dimensions, total cut length — and uses the shop's own rates to estimate cut time and produce a quote, with the fabricator keeping final pricing control. The engagement also covered website improvements and Apple Maps and Siri visibility cleanup.
The reason was operational, not cosmetic: take a repetitive manual process and turn part of it into software, so the customer and the shop both get their time back.
Precision Dropper is the same thesis pointed at demand instead of operations. The goal was never impressions — it was identifiable prospective customers the client could actually work. One lead sourced through that system produced a single order of roughly 500 units, and the client asked about scaling up in the same message:
“Good news I got an order off the leads you generated and shipped out about 500 units. The last lead you sent me was from a place in Canada that looks promising. We should talk about continuing to ramp up if we can.”
— Dr Jared Henderson, Precision Dropper
Scope differed by project — these are not all the same engagement.
Building all of this by hand surfaced the next problem: he needed software that could coordinate the software. Jarvas came first — an earlier AI and agent system used for persistent memory, automation and autonomous workflows, well beyond chat.
Rospuek grew out of turning those scattered experiments — software building, agents, lead research, browser work, content and media, business automation, investing systems, local AI infrastructure — into one coordinated system. The point isn't another chatbot. It's an operating layer that coordinates models, tools, agents, workflows and business context so work gets from idea to execution without the manual overhead. Enough of it runs on hardware he owns that the workloads aren't hostage to anyone else's platform.
The consumer side of the same philosophy. Zach is a serious lifter — a state bench-press record in his weight class and a Nationals appearance — and has worked hands-on with training, nutrition, programming and coaching. Aethon started as calorie and weight tracking and grew into an AI fitness and nutrition coach for lifters: workout generation, nutrition, progress and recovery, with iOS and Apple Health work. The aim is accessibility — taking the individualised decision-making he uses in his own lifting and turning it into software other people can use consistently.
Not a web-design shop. Zach Edwards LLC builds practical software and AI systems for small businesses and individuals — websites, ecommerce, lead generation, quoting tools, booking, local search, marketing systems, automation, AI agents and custom software.
The connective tissue is friction. If a business is losing customers because nobody follows up, automate the follow-up. If quoting takes too long, build a quoting tool. If it needs customers, build a lead engine. If switching between models and tools is eating the day, build Rospuek. If fitness guidance is fragmented, build Aethon.
Zach graduated high school early and earned an associate degree at 16, then studied physics at Utah State University. He started building the business in his early twenties, working from the premise that small teams and solo operators can now use AI to ship software, generate leads, automate operations and produce real economic output.
